wine and spirits brands in our portfolio
I was able to get a harvest laboratory intern role at J Vineyards and Winery in 2019. I’m not going to lie; harvest is exhausting but also extremely rewarding! When you get to taste that bottle of wine, it’s all worth it in the end, and I quickly realized that this whole wine thing might be for me.
I started as an IT Business Systems Analyst intern, where I gained relevant project experience and networked with like-minded individuals. I am now an IT Internship Lead three years later, responsible for recruitment strategies and training for 25+ interns. I’ve had the opportunity to work on high-importance projects, like the launch of our e-Commerce Direct-to-Consumer site, The Barrel Room.
There is no better feeling than seeing a product you were part of creating on the shelf at the grocery store. Our brands are at the forefront of celebrations, rekindling old friendships and family memories, and it’s humbling. Gallo is more than just a job; the people and experiences have made it a place to call home.
