Our craft

We’ve been producing high-quality bourbon in the heart of Kentucky since 1888. At our Lawrenceburg, KY distillery and Cox’s Creek, KY bottling facility, generations of expertise come together through hands-on craft. Our teams carry forward proven techniques while applying curiosity, care, and pride in doing the work the right way.

Through small batch runs, our teams experiment with new approaches, explore different flavors, and refine ideas that may one day shape future releases.

Our approach

Every step of our process is guided by the people behind it. From selecting the grain to cooking, fermenting, distilling, aging, and bottling, our teams use time-honored techniques and careful judgment to shape each batch.

We rely on five original, proprietary yeast strains, each chosen for the distinct character it brings forward. Using two mash bills and five proprietary yeasts, we create ten distinct recipes, each brought to life through practiced technique and a precise approach to flavor.
