  • Project Management

You will be adding capability and capacity to improve how we make and distribute wine, from grape receiving through the supply chain including our work spaces and facilities. You’ll work with technical experts to ensure we have the best systems to meet the goal safely and reliably.

  • Start Up Management

You will work with Project Managers and other departments, interfacing between Engineering and Operations to ensure new equipment meets Gallo’s needs. This includes developing scope and success criteria, building cross functional teams, and ultimately developing and leading the start-up and commissioning of new production equipment.

  • Controls

You will develop the operational technology direction and strategy for
the industrial manufacturing environment. You will maintain all Governance, Safety, and Cyber Security standards for these technologies and your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of that technology from design through capital project installation.

  • Packaging
    (Product Launch)

You will be on the front line, working with Brand Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and our Sourcing teams to launch new products. You will ensure that the packaging is set up for success prior to leading the trials and initial product runs. • Process Technology

You will champion the quality and efficiency of production-to-packaging methods, equipment and controls. Using your analytical skills to measure feasibility of product proposals, you’ll coordinate with team members to ensure timelines and prescribed budgets are met and make any modifications to operations or equipment utilization where needed.

  • Pilot Winery

You will lead the trials and processes that facilitate product scale-up for
larger production. This includes overseeing operations such as ingredient production, winemaking research, and equipment or facility layout changes.
As you guide your team through lean principles, your goal will be delivering an efficient balance of quality and quantity.

  • Fermentation & Biological Systems

Commercialization of new, improved grape and wine production and processing methods will be the result of your well-designed and executed experiments. By applying fundamental concepts of biochemical engineering, you’ll enhance grape and wine quality, create product differentiation, and reduce production costs while realizing an increase in asset utilization.

  • Spirits Distillation & Winemaking

You will oversee and guide the processes and operations that bring raw materials to finished product. As you taste spirits and wine, you will conduct evaluations and make recommendations for treatments or blending changes.
